I love it. Though the COMP breaks the "rules" it works prefectly here. I love the row of fine flowers right behind the animal.

I have to agree with Artie here. The patterns of the flowers and grass just seem to make it the right place the place the coyote. Well done.

Nice image Steve, the colours and textures in the grass definitely add a lot to the image.

Sweet use of great light, and I love the DOF bringing focus straight to the coyotes face. Top work.

Nice going. I especially like the layers effect. The OOF FG and then the coyote and then the flowers and finally the grass behind the ridge which really make the coyote stand out.

An excellent image here Steve. Nice how the OOF FG matches the OOF BG. Nice lighting...

Great light, setting and eye contact. I just wish for a tad wider DOF.

Great looking animal and well taken picture, the contrast of colours/flowers and his coat mix perfectly together.
