As usual spectacular flight pose with magical color pallet. Love the details on near wing, beautiful HA and expression.

That's a serious shot Arash. Dosnt get much better. The eye contact, the fact that they are fully lit, and the smooth creamy BG make this a real special shot. The techs and details are perfect and the comp looks great too. I would love to have this in my files. One of your best owl shots!

This is a killer BO in flight, Arash! Love those full and piercing eyes, the wing position and the BG. It's a stunner.

    Love the shot, Arash !

I have a question about the OOF wings.

I would think that 1/3200 would freeze the action, but maybe it's wings were flapping at a very high rate.

Do you think that's due to close proximity ? Or, is it simply wing blur from rotational speed ?

Love the intensity showing in the eyes. How did you get its attention?

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for your comments! I think you mean the wingtips. They are outside DOF

You're right, Arash -- wingtips is a more precise word.

I thought it was probably outside DOF, but wasn't sure. Thanks !

Goodness! This is crazy good, Arash. Doesn't get any better than this, and I don't think there are too many people who can pull off a shot like this.
