Dear Gio,
Those must be the cutest, prettiest subjects you have shown us so far! Lovely pose from those three kits and the composition is great. Would love to know, where was the image taken? And the circumstances, please tell us a bit about this sighting! When you said "nest", did you actually mean "den"? It does look like a nest though:)
Colours look good to me. I do suggest some noise reduction to the background. Exposure looks good, I would perhaps lift shadows a little and reduce contrast, just a tad.
Well captured Gio, love the expression from those little ones. TFS!
PS I would like to remind you to please try and comment on three to five images when you share one of your own. The more you comment on other members' images, the more they are likely to comment on yours, so you will receive more feedback
Kind regards,
Gabriela Plesea
Yes it is a den..but it is like a nest
I was in Iceland for blu arctic foxes to try take shoots of pups.
It was very difficult but we was luky to find two dens ..one with 7 pups and one with five.
The pups went out ..i tghink ..only few days in advance ..so they spent all the time very near...and i with hem.
ff course they no were too much dinamic..but very nice...and was possible make photos insid the flowers ..
Thanks a lot
Gio
Hi Gio, a lovely find and encounter, but for me the execution and techs have hindered the overall capture.
The framing is OK, albeit I find the two yellow flower heads distracting. DoF is way to shallow, why did you shoot at f/2.8 as you had plenty of ISO. Here I might expect the techs to be f/8 at 1/800 or 1/1000ss. The subjects lack detail and at this size hard to tell if the image is sharp, you should think about posting 1200 or 1600 wide. Overall the image has a 'warm' tone to it, masking any real colours like the leaves, getting a better White balance to start with will offer a better platform.

Indeed, everything is very close to each other which I think is not a problem, but you have sacrificed detail and depth in the cubs and so at f/2.8 to get the three cubs sharp would be very hard.I made 2,8 becouse i would ike no give too much detail to background..
Too cute. Nice to see all three looking right at you. You must have been very close here. I can see why you would call this a nest kinda looks like one with all that piled up grass.
