Hi Tobie - This works quite well as a pano. Just watch the halo effect at the horizon which looks like it is from not feathering your selection enough.

Hello Tobie,
Lovely image, the composition is very pleasing to the eye and I like the way the animals are spread out so evenly.
Indeed an unforgettable sighting well seen and taken, good colours, nice gentle PP work. This works for me and I really enjoyed viewing, TFS!
Kind regards,

Great piece of work Tobie. The pano works so well with this shot. Is it stitched or just a slice from a single frame? Either way, a wonderful scene, well captured and processed. I do like the way you've worked on the sky to match the water. Where was it taken?

Thanks and thanks for commenting Glenn! This is a single shot - at Madikwe. SA's 5th largest reserve and the best ever hidden gem!

Wonderful buffalo panoscape here Tobie with a great vantage point and fitting for a wide 1920px
How do you like the Tamron, is it the G2 version? I'm very impressed with my G2 copy.

Thanks Marc! Yes, I also have the G2. The only area where I find it weaker than my previous 300mm f4 is with the speed of autofocus when I'm shooting birds in flight. But other than that: an awesome piece of glass!
