    I was at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida sitting photographing ducks in front of me. This Common Gallinule climbed the bank about twelve feet away. I could only fit the head into the frame, with the teleconverter mounted too much lens. Not much for composition but a good test for the camera, lens and teleconverter. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 500mm F/5.6 VR AF-S ED PF and Nikon 1.4 III Teleconverter, camera and lens mounted on a monopod
    1/2500 F/8 Highlight-weighted Metering EV 0 ISO 1600 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 700mm
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2021 and Neat Image for noise reduction when needed
    Slight crop for composition and presentation
