Hi folks .... too many tigers in a row ....LOL .... made me envious , so i thought i counteract with a spectacular European Fox
Image taken in the Amsterdaamse Waterleiding Duinen in the Netherlands , location is just opposite the Bison reserve of Kraansvlak . Foxes are habituated , well at least some of them , in a small area of the nature reserve .
Hope you like it , albeit the DOF is quite small .

Hi Andreas, clean portrait, great 'stock' shot, (saleable).
Agree you are absolutely on the edge, but at this size I feel you did well. Excellent bokeh, is this with the 500MKII? Well framed, nice alert pose and if you had better light lower ISO this would be right up there. I could also see perhaps a 10x8 option.
No complains from me, nice one.

PS I'm wavering, but awaiting a callback from Canon...
Hi Andreas, a solid portrait indeed of the red Fox. I like the clean BG and the super profile of the fox. Good techs and I think the DOF has worked well here.
OK, but if you get the opportunity again then I would with a bit of BKG behind and some to look into, would work as DPS (double page spread) editorial, with text in the cool backdrop.
Hi Andreas -- Indeed these fox images are right up there with the tiger images , and higher in terms of IQ. This is another stunner, loved the clean BKG and the details in your subject.
Very nice indeed Andreas, I really like the eye, I like the composition but I am feeling as if i would like to have seen a little more neck - I don't really know why but there you are!.
