Well, if this wasn't your best shot of the day, I can't wait to see what else there is Gabriela. I love the pose and playfulness you've captured with this very young looking cub. Excellent detail that is well shown off in the larger posting size. Colour looks good. I'm unsure about the tonal range on the cub - wondering if it is a bit thin at present, but not by much? Otherwise your processing looks great.

Hi Gabriela as replied already privately ....... could it be any cuter than this !!!!
A very adorable shot of this little monster , look at this big front paws compared to the head .The pose , the look at the viewer and the icing on the cake is the stick that he is playing with .Lovely shot.
I think you can squeeze out more from the file in terms of tone and color if you like , personally i think the WB is slightly off and i might tweak the greens and the reddish coat . But this is up to personal taste .
Well have not seen a lion for quite some time ....hope we can manage a visit in 2019 , as this year i am almost done in terms of plans , might visit Africa later in the year with somebody else . Will tell you when it is fixed
Love the frame ...TFS Andreas

Gabiela I like the image a really appealing little guy isn't he. The colours look a little off to me, the cub looks a little too golden and the grass seems a tad yellow.
Aha just noticed Steve's repost!
The fact that he is doing something i.e. chewing that stick makes the image more interesting than a regular portrait type shot.
(from an entirely personal or selfish viewpoint the image is perfectly sized)

Nice frame of this little dude. Like the contrast between the colors.

Hi Gabriela - What a cutie! The low pov and the chomping on the stick really make this image stand out. Those paws are huge! I think Steve's rp has dealt very well with the color and contrast issues. Well worth revisiting.

Rachel

Hi Gabriela, love the pose and the green grass. My first thoughts were maybe a little orange on the cub but I think Steve has gone too far the other way. I would say somewhere in between the 2. Lovely image.....

Hi Gabriela -- What a cute character , loved the pose and the moment ! very nicely done . Agree with Andreas and Steve , Steve's RP has sorted the issue which was primarily the colours and contrast . Would love to see a RP from you as well . Loved the image though .
TFS !

You can't beat a cute lion cub for subject matter here Gabriela, and self critique aside, the open mouth, low POV and eye contact are quite pleasing, and prefer a RP with a tad more saturation/vibrance on the cubs fur.

I like the repost, not that I am all that familiar with their true colours/tones.
Lovely image with good techs. I don't mind the grass at all.
I'd be happy to score a shot this nice in a few months when we visit SA. :D

Thank you dearest friends!
I like your RP, Steve, much appreciated. Viewing on my laptop now but I think the colours look more natural, I must have pushed things too far. So will definitely revisit this image.
Rachel - I have more from this sighting, will share during the week. Yes the paws are huge, LOL.
Cute dude indeed, John Cannot wait to show you more! I had to pay some bills for the business tonight so no time for PP work, but burning to process more images.
And so happy to hear from you Dumay, we miss you here Bud
You guys are awesome, thank you once again for kind comments!
Warmest regards,

I love the look of tawny lion in green grass - summer bush time!
I agree with Dumay that the ideal look is between the 2 posts for me.
Very cute image Gabriela...

Thank you so much Morkel, and welcome back
My PP work a bit sloppy these days as I am struggling to find balance between work and photography. Been toying with the idea of buying a new computer and monitor for many months, I think I will do it as soon as I get back from the Kalahari. Nevertheless I will keep posting and really appreciate your feedback and RP's.
Have a lovely evening,
Kind regards,
