He is not in full breeding plumage yet as the time was October.
I like the pose none the less and the colors as well.

Lovely pose Karl. I really like the HA and the feather detail. Nice POV aswell.

Hi Karl. A lot of color in this little duck, even if not full breeding plumage. I love the way they stick their tails up. Very nice bg and low POV. I wonder if you could get a little more detail out of the white cheek -- or was it a bit blown and you recovered it?
Very nice Karl! I love everything about it, especially the low POV and simple background. No nits from me :)

My favorite, favorite duck! They are so small and cute and love the clown face they have.
Good image.
IQ is very good, nice pose and light.
The white cheek looks a bit weird. Did you do something in PP?

A great 'look at me' pose, nicely accentuated by the low angle. I've never seen one of these, but the colouring is beautiful.

Very proud looking duck with this pose. I just love it, Karl. With the low angle and the sweet green water and BG color it is a real winner for me. Very well done!
Hi Karl, lovely low angle, and I like the proud pose he gave you, especially with the cocked tail. Killer smooth BG to make the duck pop.
I like the raised tail, proud pose, low angle and composition. White cheek already mentioned. Nice image Karl.
Love the pose--looks as if he is displaying. REDs are over-saturated and the white cheek is pretty much greyed out. Were you unable to tame the WHITEs during th RAW conversion? It is always best to do so there is possible.... a
