I love the grasses half eaten Rachel they make this frame for me. Great detail, I'm a little unsure on colours as I have never seen a wild griz. I like the negative space Rachel but a bit unsure on the crop ,I think I want a bit more up top . But as you might have guessed I'm arguing a bit with my self. She's so cute mate it'd s lovely frame thanks for sharing I must have a dig I suspect from your comments I have missed more of this mom

Nice story to this one, Rachel. I can easily imagine the bear daydreaming given the pose. The mouth full of vegetation adds to this one. Great detail, tone and colour too, including the foreground and background. Thanks also for the explanation about composition which makes sense and has produced an image that works for me. Looks like you did not have a lot more frame to play with though but I could imagine some other compositions working if you had zoomed back to provide more frame.

The framing works for me OK, and the clear view of the eye is great without any pesky shadows. Works all round for me

Nice image Rachel, going to 800 ISO would have been better and I might have looked to temper the brighter highlights, similar to Jons Bear. The detail is there, but I feel that within the 'processing' you could have 'soften' the overall look (hard to describe as it not softening per se), but the fur looks more natural in it's appearance, but still retains the clarity.
