Took this one on the cape verde islands. Was playing with some slow shutterspeed times. Cropped it like this because there was too much air. I'm looking forward to see your comments.

Hi Thijs, I like the way you cropped the image and the small starburst on the horizon. I did a few things to the image. First, I straightened the horizon. I then cropped a bit off the right to further offset the starburst. I then warmed up the sandy foreground a bit to give more interest and then added a contrast adj to the whole image.
Your thoughts?

Slow SS images can be very effective and attractive. I too like the starburst although I would have preferred it a bit more in either the ROT position or as Dave wanted....a touch more off center. I like the added contrast and warmth of the repost but overall, I think you composed this nicely.
PS I may add a hint of sky back if that is where you cropped it.
