I went to Conowingo for the first time and I have never seen this many eagles before. They were not overly active but I got a few images. I liked the upside-down pose and eye contact in this one.

Well Axel, that is one way to get good underwing exposure and detail! Amazing flyers.
Techs are good, excellent composition.
Cheers

Hi Axel,
Beautiful image, and great pose.
great upside down flight shot ...first time for me
Axel, love the placement in the frame and you did great on the exposure, plenty of detail on the under (upper) side.:D Wonderful head turn and very sharp. Was he just having fun playing in the air or was he chasing something? Congrats
Agree with you....great pose/eye contact....beautiful wing position too!
This is a killer one Axel Bhai, what a pose indeed and the HA adds to this beautifully executed image, congrats..
Interesting flying posture -you captured him at the right moment, as Im sure he twisted himself to a normal banking angle. You did well with the detail from the underwings, and overall, nice and sharp. Well done.
Love the aerobatic posture, and detail you captured, Axel!
That is crazy pose, I've never seen anything like this.
Great detail on the bird overall.
Axel, Nicely done. Great eye contact and interesting pose.
this is one killer shot Axel, congrats man... awsome.
Hey Axel, you forgot to rotate the image by 180 degrees :D
Wonderful turn and pose with awesome detail on blacks.

Amazing. The first thing I did, before scrolling down to the rest of the discussion, was copy it and rotate it 180. Then I saw the light, as you say. Great capture!
So these guys glide upside down? Awesome. Great capture of the moment, I cannot imagine that they stay like that for long.. sharp, nice eye contact...now if our local (SA) eagle species would learn this trick!
Beautiful dive shot Axel, hadn't seen a pose like this before, well done with the techs.

Thank you for the kind comments, it's much appreciated!
Fascinating image, great detail but I keep turning my head :) So I'm curious about your comment about the number of eagles ... how many are we talking about?
Thanks Axel
stunning shot.
