Tawny owl and owlet
One from the archives, a very unexpected encounter, but four long days, (around 12 hrs a day) put in, waiting for the Tawny to show. Shot from behind a Hawthorn hedge with the hide pressed right up against the hedge and a small hole cut through the hedge. You never knew when the Adult would appear so, in... early into the hide and that was it because I just did not want to spoke it, plus I did not want to be on the receiving end of the owl, unlike those who have heard of Eric Hoskins. This was on the last day, right at the end, the adult flew in and then shortly after the owlet showed, after this neither were seen again.
