This butterfly was captured this week at our local Butterfly exhibit in Grand Rapids, MI. Runs for six weeks, with quite an assortment of butterflies that changes over the course of the show. No tripods, often quite busy, challenging lighting, but lots of fun. It had been cancelled the last two years.

Z9. Nikon 70-180 zoom at 180. Manual focus (only option with this combination. 1/250s, f/8 ISO 2000. R1C1 flash with one unit at 12, the other at 5 o'clock on the mounting ring.

    Slight crop for comp.

    Advice and comments always appreciated.
