Prairie Dog on snow
Shot this Prairie dog last month at Theodore Roosevelt National Park on the way back from Yellowstone NP. Always wanted to get one in snowy conditions. They do occasionally come out in snow but not very many or frequently. The snow was actually melting very fast in the Badlands of Western Nd. This was actually just a small patch of snow.
Shot from the truck and this little guy was coming up to the running boards and chewing on them.
Not a lot of detail in the snow because it was more like ice and glazed over. Cloned in some snow in upper left to get rid of red dirt. Processed with Dpp 4, Photoshop. Comments and critiques appreciated.
