Posting an image from my last trip before the pandemic. It was from North East India, the home to Indian One Horned Rhinoceros. This creature is absolute bulk and power. They can give you a charge anytime, its difficult to make whether it is a mock charge or the tank will actually collide. But to see them up-close is an absolute thrill. They are massive and their armour plated hide makes them appear pre-historic.
Coming to the image, I managed this shot by using a wide angle lens and stooped from the open vehicle to get an eye level perspective , but things happened quite fast and there was too much excitement in the vehicle , but nonetheless, managed to squeeze out this frame.
DPP 4.12, PSCC 2020, WB, Curves, selective colour, Sharpened the subject, cropped from the top and Lhs.
Canon 1DX MK II, Canon 24-105mm IS II, HH.
ss 1/250, f/5.6, iso 8000.
