Nice Symmetry in the flower. Square crop looks good.

I like the composition and framing though perhaps a little tight for my personal taste, the small orange flower head is a little out of keeping with the rest of the image. Details and colours look very good.
I like the pattern the flowers make. Really wish that one dead one wasn't in the center but thats nature for you. Agree a little tight all around.

Your macro stuff is superb; it inspires me. I love the great detail in this one. The only thing that bugs me is the oddly out of focus spent blossom (???) -- the orange thing.

Artie, Thanks for your kind comments. That past prime flower bugs me too. I couldn't get clone it out as there was not much to fill in for the spent flower. In hind sight, I should have simply pinched it off before taking the image, but I wouldn't have the heart to do so either.
