I took a number of Bee-eater shots the other day. One of them shows a Bee above the Bee-eater's head with its beak open. I was going to post that one, but the bird is behind a branch and there are lots of distracting branches etc. So...I'm posting this one taken a few minutes later, with no distractions. Would have like the bird to be on a lower branch, but that was not to be. Went back to the same location this morning...no Bee-eaters around!

Very sharp and colorful details on bird and prey. Also love the BG and appreciate getting the canopy nice and creamy. Even with up angle, this one totally works for me. TFS
Great colours and catch. Well composed, and good. Bummer about the steep angle, but you know that already. I'd leave that protrusion in as for me it is not that bad. I love the detail on the feathers!
