    Default Common Yellowthroat in the Reeds

    Yesterday was in the marsh full of heat shimmers waiting on Harriers when this handsome fella surprised me. I had never seen a Common Yellowthroat before.

    While it may seem like he is small in the frame, I chose to leave it at this crop level because they are so tiny and it represented how I remember him in the tall reeds. And I debated on the right stick but chose to leave it for perspective and framing.

    Processed in C1P and PS. Normal stuff, warmed up (flat light) and removed some reeds to clean up in PS. ~ 55% crop for aesthetic.
