Western Grebe flattop
Today was the first day with my Nikon 600mm f4e (thank you Arash, also Artie for the guidance). It was a bit frustrating as the light stunk but I got some shots and a feel for the differences between the Nikon and Sigma lenses.
This funny looking Griebe strolled by with a post-COVID haircut and I think the barber got a little carried away. There was some beautiful greens at top I had to clip to frame properly.

Post in C1P and PS. Added some canvas at bottom, cleaned up some water and adjusted mids and colors.

Looking good Brian.....I like the colours and detail...Nice HA. The red eye is really nice...I would try cropping a little from the top.

Will, thanks for the feedback.
I was torn about keeping the [what I thought was a] beautiful green gradient color transition from top down versus cutting it off to showcase the bird. I guess THE most important part of any photo is the bird and that should have answered my doubt.

The reflection and the ripples in the water are pretty nice. Detail on the grebe looks quite nice.
