Hello Andreas,
I think it's very cool to see and photograph a Hartmann's Mountain Zebra, I have not had this opportunity yet Don't think I have seen one here in the Wildlife Forum either, at least since I have been around.
Super techs, well framed (this one's straight), good pose and HA, love the colours and warmth (BTW, what temperatures did you experience in Etosha in April?) Despite the slightly busy and colourful BG the subject stands out so nicely, it is well exposed and there's good detail, Boetie.
Your observations on the species' behaviour are very interesting, I would like to know more about this Zebra and will look through my books tonight to see what else I can learn. Enjoyed this image, always good to see different species. I am sure the other members will enjoy it too, thank you so much for sharing!
Kind regards,
-
Hi Andreas -- Loved the way you have exposed this image, the light looks strong but you have got a very nice frame with excellent details in the subject. Again nice separation from the BKG and those white stones are adding in this scene , depicting the environment. Is this specie more stout ?
Nicely done .
TFS !

Exposure looks very nice. Like the walking pose. The light is a little harsh but oh well. Sounds like quite the sighting and experience.
