Auckland Island banded dotterel
This was captured on Enderby Island about 2 years ago. I went wide open for this one since I had no way to get a very distant background (not allowed off the boardwalk at this point on the island), so going for the shallow depth of field. Maybe 3.2 or 4 would have been better and have the feet and tail, but I can't go back for a redo.
400mm, 1/1250, f2.8, ISO250. Processed in Lightroom.
