We were poling the makoros through the Okavango when we spooked a Red Lechwe feeding in the shallow water. He put on a great show as he splashed his way across the marsh. I wish I had had the foresight and the skill to try a video. but this is the best I could get. I know that there will be demerits since he is running away, but that is what they do, and I like the dynamic sense of it. I believe the trees in the distance are where we later spotted and photographed the Pel's Fishing Owl.
