Subadult Alpine Marmot in rain
Hi folks a second marmot in row ....
This time a youngster from early in the season of 2017 ....tried to make the rain fall visible , to create streaks . But i guess for the wished effect, i needed more rain or an even slower SS . Nevertheless i tried ...and i quite like the overall cool atmosphere compared to previous posting.
And there are some short streaks visible ... and to be honest once it rained heavier at that location , all marmots disappearedso no chance for rain streaks in the burrow system ..LOL !!
So i took the options i had to play with ...tell me me your thoughts .

EF 500 IS L II
Tripod
F 4,5 ; Iso 800 ; 1/200 sec ; well should have stopped down for more DOF .... too late folks , so take it as is .
Processed with C1 and PSCC 2018 ; cropped for comp from RHS and top/bottom for composition

Ah yes ..kept this way more punchy than Steve did with his swiss marmots ....... matter of taste .
