Semipalmated Plover in the sun
I had the good fortune to meet and do some shooting with Jake Levin. We met and went out looking for shorebirds around New York City. We were walking under a beach club and there were two of these hiding in the shade and out of the very strong blowing wind. Immediately I said get down and lets hope they move into that little sliver of sun. As luck would have it one of the two did.
