Going back on memory lane once again, here is an image taken in the Kalahari in 2010. I did a lot of experimenting in those days, so when I look at those images now I often cannot understand the reasoning behind my camera settings:) Every now and then I got lucky and with some decent light the images did not turn out too bad, so here is one I quite like. If you are wondering what makes me share such old stuff, well... I thought I'd show you what amazing eyes those creatures have. I was so taken with those horizontal pupils at the time...

I already see a couple of things I can do to improve this - hair looks a bit coarse in places, I could open up the blacks a bit (around the eye), a slight colour cast on the white hairs behind ear)
