    Default Burrowing Owl Fledgling...

It was evening on Marco Island, Florida. I was capturing images Burrowing Owl chicks and parents when this fledgling leapt into the air testing it's wings. I guess in hindsight I wish I had more shutter speed and depth of field but the sun had dropped behind the houses and darkness was beginning to set it. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC 2017, removed some black nylon rope and a plastic post surrounding the owls burrow area in the lower right of the frame
    Cropped for composition and presentation
