Common Nighthawk II
I made the mistake of posting this photo to another thread that I had started without reading about only one pic per thread.
This is the same nighthawk as in the other pic, but this one is a little closer and provides more detail and a closer crop. The bg is a little different with some green running through the bird's body, but I don't think it detracts too much. I'm not sure about the eye being open on this bird with sunlight coming in, but it's the best pic I have of this bird.
Also, I misspoke about the time of day this was taken in the earlier photo. This was around 7:30pm.
