Clever. I like the red umbrella and the tilt of "Mary." Good job with the tilt of the head of the other woman.
I wonder about eliminating the white circle at top right, darkening the right side of the image, especially the shop window and its reflection, adding a bit of saturation to the woman-on-the-ground's hat and umbrella. It would be nice if the women stood out a bit more.
I think you have a great idea here.

Thanks, Anita. Actually, I posted the wrong image. I have a cropped version that eliminates that light in the upper right. I'm going back to the original capture and redo the whole image - I had originally done Analog Efex on it which changed the image quality of the women. I liked it as a stand alone image but for Mary Poppins version I'm going to start over without Analog and see how much better you can see the women. Thanks for your comments.

Cheryl,
Greetings. It's interesting to see the two versions. I think you did a great job in adjusting the idea in the new image (it did away with the features that I wasn't wild about). I like the idea (it is whimsical) and good job on the implementation. Thanks for posting.
Cheers,

So, that is what they do in Venice for fun...
I think it works!

Delightful. Like the repost. Also visually good that the side reflections on the street/sidewalk? point the eye to the characters. Whimsical is a good description.
also, interesting that this is an iPhone image. I'm experiments with variations of those myself.
