Hello to all, just joined this amazing forum not to long ago. Just amazed by all the great photos i've seen posted here.
I'm from Quebec, Canada but recently moved to New Mexico. Been into photography for about 5 years now ,mainly was shooting macro but moving out here has made me want to shoot wildlife. Living up on the Mesa and seeing all the wildlife out has made me want to invest more time into learning about wildlife photography. Been here for about 2 months now and have taken over 12k photos , even invested in a new lens nikon 200-500 F5.6 to go with my D600. The 28-300mm was not cutting it anymore. A huge ty to Arthur and his passion for wildlife photography.
Photo was taken with a D600 , nikon 28-300mm @ 300mm, 1/1000 @ f5.6 , iso 400
Welcome to BPN, Brian. I see you are a fan of raptors! I think you're going to love wildlife photography and I look forward to your contributions here. Feel free to ask any questions you like.
Hey Doug , Ty for the welcome! For sure we should get together, I bet I could learn a lot from you :) , we are thinking about heading out to the Bosque del apache in a few weeks/month or so, no dates set yet wife has a few work trips coming up but after that your welcome to tag along or meet up there. Ill hit you up with dates whenever we decide on going (would be a weekend trip in general), Could be tons of fun ! Always welcome to come out to Los Alamos, as I stated we live up on the Mesa lots of birds/wildlife (bit less now its getting colder) out here and tons of trails to walk around and take photos, my back "yard" has a canyon with the sun to my back all day, great for shooting most of the time.
