Spectacled Eider Drake Changing Ponds
This is the same bird as my post from yesterday. The midnight light was so warm and golden. When he and his hen got out of the pond closest to us, crossed the ice and headed for the farther one, I thought I was in heaven. Quite a heavy crop, but I did not have time to change to my 2x and didn't want to risk missing the action. I'll post his hen next.
