I captured this image at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Maybe unconventional but I like the image. The different types of feathers, the layering of the feathers, the tones and colors of the feathers, all appeal to me. This is one of two cranes that walked up and kind of just hung out with us for a while, feeling at ease enough for this one to begin preening. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated.
