Incoming gannet
Up at Bempton Cliffs with Artie and his group we went to a specific viewpoint where, if the weather is correct, you can get the birds coming into land. I always like to try and shoot the juveniles whenever possible as I find the black feathers add a little more interest. I tried 2 types of shot, a slow shutter speed for blurred wings which I'll post sometime in the future, and this was my favourite of the more traditional frozen shots

Nice and sharp. Love the direct eye contact and that out streched pose. Detail on the bird looks good as well.
