I like the image it's a cute looking bear. I would suggest making a burn layer and go along the base and a little way up the sides.
The darkest areas of the fur are pretty dense, I don't know if the raw file might stand a little more lifting there with curves.

I do like the contrast of colour here POV and habitat greenery John, agree with Jon on lifting the blacks/shadow detail.

Hello John,
Is this a cub or an adult bear, looks quite small?
I like the pose and facial expression, framing is great. Colours look good (including greens), also sharpness, I do agree with Jon and Marc on lifting the blacks/shadows if possible.
A bit too far, those Smoky Mountains - I would love to explore them one day
Have a great rest of the week, TFS!
Kind regards,

Hi John - I like the comp of this one much more than some of your others because of the bear angled toward the viewer and the low pov. The colors look good except I agree with the others about the blacks again.

Hi John, nicely framed, but I can see (if on foot) going much lower too. You had the ISO, but as the Bear was on the move I would have easily gone to 1/2000 with little difference to the IQ of the file. Light looks strong and so shadows will be a lot more in terms of depth so I think the posting looks reflective and doesn't need any adjustment, however... without seeing the RAW, you might be able to do a lot more and so address the points raised, but still retain depth, but perhaps with more clarity.
