I love the colors and the way the yellow pops against the dark blue/light blue BG.
Beautiful details in the yellows and whites. Light is fine- not a deal breaker for me.You could lift the shadows along the edge of forehead slightly.
My only suggestion would be to add a sliver more on the bottom to include the entire eye ring.
Is the red a natural coloring or a stain from food? If it is a stain I could see an argument for cloning out the red.

Colin great shot. I love the details and the yellow crest. I do agree if you have more room at the bottom.Not sure but could you lighten the Iris some would give even more pop. TFS
