Certainly one of the best swift shots I have seen. Just a beautiful shot. Sharp and the pose is great. I see a shutter speed of 1/8000. Probably just fast enough for freezing one of these flying torpedoes. I guess in a perfect world that shadow on the lower wing wouldn't be there but that is the most minor of nits possible with this photo. I for one love a blue sky behind a flying bird.

Hi Rich, great angled flight pose, well exposed, and with that ss, you certainly nailed the sharpness. Well done for locking on focus with this extremely fast flyer, and I would remove the second catchlight in the eye. ( the one in front )

Don't mind the empty background. Getting one of thise guys in flight is always a challenge. This one is sharp and in perfection positon. Superb!
