Watercolors a little bit Muddy. Like the head angles. Nice feeding behavior.

Love the intimacy of the low angle and pano crop. Two fantastic eyes and behavior does it for me. TFS

Love the feeding interaction shown here and the perfect HA's.
The droplets on the parent's head are really pleasing to the eye.
The pano crops are tricky when cutting the parent's body in half but I think this works,

Thanks everyone for the comments.
The water color is influenced by the very dark illumination on the scene, and some tannins in the water.
The horizontal is essentially full frame, I didn't crop the adult in post. When they are feeding, they are constantly moving around, coming from different angles and even with a remote controlled trolling motor I can't always move the boat fast enough to avoid clipping them occ. But I try to avoid it when it is possible!

Really tender image, lovely capture. As always exposure, detail and composition top notch. Thank you for sharing.

A fine shot Randy and the flash is very subtle, I wonder how many of us would have known flash was used had you not mentioned it?

Randy, beautiful moment captured here. Bonus that we see contents in the mouths of both too!
Water color doesn't bother me much. I was curious though, are those just specular highlights going across just behind the birds? An interesting and atypical pattern?
TFS, nice works on the loons as usual.
