Gorgeous duck! I'm glad they are back for you. Good image overall with nice soft light, except it needs some CW rotation, and the blacks seem a bit hazy to me, especially on the head. I like the lifted wing-tip, making for an interesting pose.

What a beauty. Like where Steve is taking it. Beautiful soft light and details everywhere(easier seen when lifted a little). Great canvas, especially from shore. TFS

Will, this is a beautiful species IMO. You got low enough to get a nice dof fall off but wouldn't want much higher.
I liked the contrast in the og personally, but I do feel it's a good bit dark overall. Could bring up brightness asome I think and would also agree on CW rotation.
Light looks really nice and would love to see a repost!

Thanks for the comments guys, appreciated...Here is a repost...the blacks on an Eider are just that real black...Very difficult to see details...I have brightened it up slightly....As far as the crop rotation goes...this is the sea, and it was quite choppy on the date...the bird was rising into the oncoming wave.
