Sweet shot Will, agree on a little less at the bottom. Nice to see its not hammered with Contrast & Blacks, allows the details to shine. Was this up at the ski lift car park?

Thanks guys for the comments, much appreciated. Hi Steve, yes at the usual spot on the left of the car park...Have you been up there recently, since the closure of the funicular railway. They reckon it won't reopen until at least September, at the earliest. It is good for the wildlife, as not so many people now go onto the mountain, and the lack of snow also keeps human activity to a minimum. I also had a look for Ptarmigan, but no show.

A fun winter bird. Good parallel pose. It would have been great had the bunting perched closer to the near edge of the rock. I could also see a version with the subject just a bit brighter on the face and undertail coverts. I love the gradient in the BG, very nice.

Nice low angle here. Really like that blue in the background. Framing is right on as well. Nice and sharp.
