Hi Dumay, nicely framed and I like the overall colour palette, sweet. The POV appears to be at eye level which is good, but I feel moving to your left a fraction more would have offered a 'clear' perspective, at present the vegetation is a little distracting for me. I also think a bit more DoF say f/7.1 because of the head angle, nose looks soft????
I'm hoping the next posting will a notch up.

Love the colour palette here bud, was it in CKGR or in Makgadikgadi?
Nice low POV too. Steve made some good comments. You certainly had the ISO to go for more DOF.
Good to see you posting again.

Very nice. Like the low angle and the pose. Sweet background as well.

Love the expression and the colour palette. I too think Steve made some good observations.

Hi Dumay - I agree, lovely colors and I like the layers of color in the bg. I agree that Steve has made some good observations. Trimming a little from the bottom even though it makes it a little tight lessens the distracting feeling of the oof brush.

This is sweet, Dumay
Love the species, great fun to follow and photograph and behaviour wise so entertaining. Classical pose here from the subject, beautiful colours, really nice POV. Well exposed too.
I like the composition and the space you've given this little chap. There is good detail in the fur, eyes are sharp, agree with comments above regarding the need for more DoF (Eish...Easy to say, I know. In fact this is my biggest problem, lack of sufficient DoF).
Very nice capture Dumay, and it reminds me of my favourite place on Earth - my "other home". I took great pleasure viewing, thank you so much for sharing!
Kind regards,

Thanks everyone for the comments.
Morkel it was at the Makgadigadi...One of my favourite places in the world now.
