The pov here is wonderful. I really like the transition into turquoise at top and the plucking of the worm... awesome!
Composition works pretty well. How much crop? To my eye the IQ seems maybe a tiny bit lacking in finer details but a minor nit.
Good work on the timing and overall execution!

Final file is 25.1MP so just under half cropped away.

Very nice. Love the worm stretch even though the worm probably didn't. Lovely bkg tones.

Well timed image ....
Comp works well as does the low POV plus the nice DOF .
Personally I would love the see finer details rendered , a touch warmer colors and maybe opening up the eye in the tones .

I love it when these plovers tug on worms like this! This one is about to snap! Great low angle, and nifty colours in the BG. A bit low in the frame IMO, but I can see why you wanted to keep the top colour strips, which are very cool.
