From little Estero Lagoon Nicki was doing some heavy duty mudding and it was cold !!!
Not sure how it felt like ... this time I did not tried it !!! Sure was a treat Nicki !!!
Too right Harold....but then cold wet socks feel SO much nastier than cold wet feet!!!!!:D
Al, I just knew that one of you must have snapped me looking my very best......cold?...I'm made of sterner stuff than that...!!!
It was my greatest pleasure to be with you all that morning - miss you guys...:(
Hugs to all,
Nicki
I just love being down and dirty with the birdies  I'll be posting some stuff very soon!
Wishing for my next trip too - do you have any plans for the UK?
Nicki,
I also have a great mudder image of you that I took on a different day! My children saw your photo and named you the Crocks lady because of your powder blue footwear!!!!
Ed!
I look forward to seeing this mudder image of yours :D
All the very best people have powder blue crocs, but I'm sure that your children already know this!!!!!
Where did you take the picture and did we meet??!:)
Best regards,
Nicki
We met very briefly one morning at the Estero Lagoon. You were in a rush to get back because you told me your husband was probably wondering what happened to you! I was shooting the reddish and you were returning from the Avocet. Your Avocet stayed in that same spot for at least an hour after you left!
Hi Ed!
Yes, I remember our encounter very well. When I returned to our hotel room on Sanibel my husband informed me that I smelt of rotting molusc - well I had been crawling through the lagoon to get closer to the avocet!!!!!!! I'm getting ready to post an avocet from that morning on OOTB - watch this space!
Al, I just knew that my crocs would be the things to catapult me onto the world stage...:D:D
Best regards to you both,
Nicki
