I like the hare, I don't dislike the background but I feel a slight reduction in contrast helps presentation with the hare. I am having very little luck with hares this year, numbers are lower each year - only seen one so far on my most likely local patch.

Very nice details and punchy colours Steve. The low angle certainly helped here. Nice techs too.

Nice view of this hare. The ears are huge compared to the cottontails. Like the low angle and that green strip in the foreground here. Detail looks great.

Hi Steve ... a perfect hare shot for me . Prefect colors and tonal range . Would love to get to shoot hares ... but no real chance around here . Wonder what I will do this year ... due to Corona . Cancelled all plans .... until we know where this thing is going .
Back to the frame .... just a bit tight for me on bottom and top .
Nice one .... love , as ever , the fine detail you extract !!!

Hello Steve,
Adorable little chap and I love the 'sulky' look and long whiskers. I like the environment too. Very well captured with lots of detail, colours look great.
Framing a bit tight at the bottom but not too much. Must say I am so taken with the pose and that cute muzzle
Really enjoyed this a lot, thank you for sharing!
Warmest regards,

FF, could easily have extended it Andreas...
Gabriela, just a quick dash back, so will take the kit back up with me in a few days time

Might be .... that you could have done that , better would have been to shoot with the plain 500 , IMHO

Hi Steve -- Those fine details are a treat to watch. Liked the low POV , makes the Hare look big. Lovely colours and tones , whats not to like in this frame.
Superbly done.
