Hi Dan, lovely gradient BG and colors. The bonus is the feather for me. Overall, there is a magenta cast that would be an easy adjustment. I would also remove the lone green whatever it is on the top back feather. Wonderful raised crest.
Very nice view of this merganser. Really like the color of the water here. The feather is a plus.
Lovely capture of a cool bird. The feather in the beak is a real bonus. Nice details and eye contact. I agee on the magneta cast. Also think the tail is a bit close to the edge on the left. Might add more room all round.
There is a strong magenta cast and I would take this back to PP and deal with that.
Do you have more room on the LHS for the tail.
The feather in the bill is sweet and I think that a little TLC would go a long way to making this image shine.

Love the soft (back?) light on the crest. SH and well EXP. I would not mind a bit more room behind and below the bird.
