Barney and I set out for the marsh this afternoon, a bittern had been seen the two previous days so I thought this could be my luck day. Wrong! after 5min walk the heavens opened and the skies went heavy grey. We went home both wet and cheesed off. I have been rummaging through some old files, this was from 2010, I picked up some road kill pheasant and took it to a local meadow where there was a local buzzard and where I had a hide set up. I fastened the pheasant to the ground so the buzzard couldn't fly off with it before I got some images.
