Hello John,
Whew, not bad for ISO 8000...Wondering what happened to this chap's antlers, I guess he might be too young to have been in a fight? He has a very cute expression on his face and I like the walking pose. Love those tall grasses in the background... but maybe you could soften them a bit, a tad of noise reduction won't hurt.
Also a bit more at the bottom of the frame, if you have it - you allowed for the virtual legs but just a little more would balance the image nicely. Lastly, if this were mine I would have warmed this up a bit, feels to me like it could do with some vibrance and colour - but you were there John, so it's up to you

Hi John, I like the low POV here, but you should be getting better IQ even with those techs. Nicely framed and having the deer behind the light BKG of the reeds worked very well as it provides good separation.
