I am not sure if this is my favourite - pretty close anyway. It's a corny saying but it's all in the light, it is and you caught it beautifully. Gorgeous colours and textures wonderful setting

Thanks Jon. I agree, it is all about the light here. Unfortunately this type of light was rare. This was taken about 6:30 a.m. and though I was out each morning at that time, the bears didn't always cooperate and present themselves.
Thanks again,
Rachel

Super light & nicely framed Rachel. The slight HA towards us and the raised paw & golden fur all add up! TFS.

Already discussed by your good self and Jon ,Rachel. That light, and your skillset have come together in a wonderful image here. Beautiful framing,I also adore all the greens reflected, that one doesn't actually see in the image the open mouth is the icing on the cake here, for me.

Hi Rachel -- Loved the light , and the framing as well . It is always tricky to get the right details and sharpening in a wet fur , but you have done superbly well in that area as well . Loved it . TFS !

Hello Rachel,
Beautiful colours and reflection here, love your golden bear. Nice walking pose from the subject, mouth open, visible tongue, so much to look at
This is a well framed, well processed image with beautiful detail - works for me as presented. I really enjoyed viewing - thank you so much my friend.
Have a beautiful afternoon,

Like the posture, colours look good Rachel. Not sure about the masking towards the back leg, appears not as clean/defined as the other areas??

Thanks Haseeb, Gabriela and Steve. Steve, I had looked at that area. No masking issue, just the very fine guard hairs in shadow combining with some muck in the water.
Thanks again,

Hi Rachel, lovely walking pose with the raised left front leg, and I like the slightly open mouth. Well placed in the frame, and Im glad you left the reflection. Not to repeat everyone else, but the light is sweet, and has shown up the Bear's coat nicely. Well captured.
