Jon:
I like this one a lot. The floating mountains, flying saucer cloud, tree in foreground for some additional sense of depth, the lighting. If time allowed, I could see moving about some to change the relative relationship of the tree to mountains, perhaps a bit to your right to move the tree left just a bit, which would also move the flying saucer cloud to the right a bit. Lots of very neat components here to work with! I am very fond of the Grand Tetons, having been there on a family vacation as a child.

Very different Jon, like it, touch of the 'Twilight' zone perhaps!!!
Are there two people walking on the bank, if so I would 'beam the up'.

A lovely scene Jonathan! Processing of the image file is great and ditto on the two people on the bank. I too would like a little more separation between the tree and cloud...as presented I think they are spaced perfect for a vertical crop, but for the horizontal view a short jog to the right would have put some additional space between them...alternately you could always move the cloud further to the right with a quick mask

Thanks for the feedback, i have several versions from slightly different angles including a portrait orientation.
They are not people - they are trees in various states of leaf bearing.

Hi Jon- I am late to this but going to check out your landscapes from your trip. This is a very unique shot of the area which is not easy to do. Congrats. The cloud really adds a lot. Well processed and good placement of the tree. Interesting to see the Tetons with no snow except the permanent glacier. I haven't been there in the fall so haven't seen them like this.

The layering, soft light and quirky cloud placement at the top really makes this one that holds the attention, well done!
