I did not see the other owl until I read you caption. A nice surprise! Maybe pointing your lens an inch to the left would have helped with the comp, but otherwise this is a fun image with beautiful grassy habitat.

Hi David, good image. I like the habitat. My first impression, like Jonathan, was that the owl was to centered but then seeing the other owl not much you could do. Thank you for sharing.

I really like this. It's a perfect depiction of this bird. The low angle is really what does it, and I think the second bird is a really cool touch as well. The taller stalks add some nice context/texture as well. Love the color saturation too. Wider crop wise.

Boy that owl does not look happy. Hopefully it's not you. The low angle is nice. Really like all that green.
