I like the head on shot, quite a rack he's got there John. I like the misty atmosphere, hope he didn't give chase!

This works for me too, John. Very nice POV and you managed to emphasise this massive rack beautifully. BG is superb.
Jon is right, looks as if the Elk is about to charge, love the pose and 'mean' stare. Composition is great. I would perhaps tone down the slightly bright BG and R side of the subject.
You seem to take your time and plan your images, using different angles to create various perspectives - I think it's awesome, very well done
Kind regards,

Hi Jon, the head on works and that's a massive rack, what I don't like is this yellow basis again, any chance I can see the Raw? I think the image could benefit from a sliver off the top.

Hi John, just a quick look at the camera data:
- Add Copyright details into your camera P225 manual
- AF point wasn't quite bang on the, slightly to the left, picky yes, but it can make a difference in the future
- White balance leave it on Auto, I think this could be where some of the colour issues arise from
- AF take it off spot, either single, AF expansion (cross), or AF expansion surrounding points, here I may have gone for AF expansion
- Case 4 ignore AF switching, set to zero
In LR I changed the WB to Auto and straight away you get a more realistic rendering, no yellow bias.

Hi John — Very nice angle and pose, looks pretty aggressive individual. That’s indeed a massive rack , handsome indeed. I liked the misty feel to it and the head on pose works well .
Steve’s RP has definitely made improved things on colour counts , feels quite natural to me .
Nice image, TFS !

John, you are either showing your age, or have too much time on your hands and have been watching reruns of Bonanza perhaps????

A lovely frame again John ,I like your framing and that head on aspect. Nice edit by Steve as well.
