Hi all .... changing species but not location .
This time a Red Fox from the Netherlands again ...just round the corner of the Bisons .
As previously stated , these foxes are habituated to humans in the Amsterdaamse Waterleidingduinen . I heard about various numbers of foxes that are more or less habituated to human presence , but this takes place only in a small area of the whole big area .
This female was photographed under dark sky in the forest ....
Canon EOS 1Dx
EF 200 - 400 IS L with TC engaged at 513 mm

Full frame
F 7,1 ; Iso 12800 ; 1/1600 sec ; Man Exp ; Auto Iso ..... with hindsight a bit more DOF would not have been a bad thing !!!!
Processed with DPP and PSCC 2018 ....again a simple approach in PS , two adjustment layers and a tiny bit of selective LCE .
Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous posting .
I like the pose and detail, I think the image could do with a dash more colour, I appreciate colours do vary but he looks a little pale to me (??) Initially I thought a tad too bright more contrast needed but then I looked at the nose and ear so I think exposure/tone is spot on ..........just a little pale?
As ever you have beautiful texture and detail.
Thanks folks for your comments ... as always much appreciated .
I am fine with the crop ....easy ... as i have not more . With hindsight i might have shot wider ....
Tone and color ...matter of taste , was in loose forest , dark grey sky .... i might push the gamma slightly down for a bit more tonal depth .
I feel the posting reflects the overcast conditions with a very flat looking image and wager colour is muted. I'm OK with the crop as presented, but if time allowed. a quick flip and to shoot landscape would have added more options.

PS I note you don't keep any copyright or exif embedded Andreas?
Thanks Steve ...your comment is much appreciated .
Yes a quick flip and zooming out would have been possible ...!!!
As you know ....it is about editing , too, to make the kit handling the High Iso shots as well as this demo . Enough examples floating around with the same kit , or similar, from another brand where you can see the difference ....in the modern world the editing became way more important and one needs good skills in both capture and editing to get the best out of his kit .
